Thinking of getting Married in Ireland?

It’s said that Ireland, once visited, is never forgotten.

The Irish landscape has a mythic resonance, due as much to the country’s almost tangible history as its claim to being the home of the fairies and the ‘little people’.

Granted, the weather may not always be perfect, but the dampness ensures there are fifty beautiful shades of green to compensate – just one of the reasons Ireland is called the Emerald Isle.

To have a wedding in Ireland, Churches and registry offices are the only places licensed to perform legal marriage ceremonies. However if you wanted to have a marriage blessing or exchange of vows this can be arranged in certain outdoor locations. Lots of couples do this and have a legal wedding either in their own country or get married in a Irish registry office beforehand.
